Mukul Bhatia is the Chief Distribution Officer at ABIBL. His leadership responsibilities include setting and executing evolving strategies and driving overall growth by providing a value proposition. He is responsible for handling the insurance portfolio of overall corporate clients on behalf of ABIBL and ensure risk mitigation through insurance solutions.
His focus is to drive overall growth of the category & build customer engagement through robust business development initiatives. With a strong track record in leading client advisory, technology solutions and a hands-on role in leading complex transformation engagements, Mukul has also been responsible for driving the reinsurance business for ABIBL.
Mukul has over 22 years of experience in the general insurance industry across various functions like direct sales, claims and multi-channel distribution. Prior to ABIBL, Mukul was with Bharti AXA General Insurance Company where he spearheaded the Emerging Corporate Channel. Prior to this, he was with Cholamandalam MS General Insurance and headed the Corporate Business for Maharashtra.
Mukul holds a B.E and MBA from Pune University.
