Lalit Vermani was the Chief Risk Officer (Insurance & Operational Risk) at Aditya Birla Capital Limited where he was in-charge of overseeing the governance and risk management processes and identifying potential risks which may lead to enterprise risk.
He has over 30 years of experience in governance, risk & compliance in Financial Services. He was also the CRO for Aditya Birla SunLife Insurance for 10 years and Chief Compliance Officer for Aditya Birla SunLife AMC for 5 years.
Prior to joining Aditya Birla Capital, he worked with Securities & Exchange Board of India for over 4 years. He was also associated with PNB Capital Services Limited, Onida Finance Limited and JM Capital Mutual Funds. He has an MBA in Finance and a qualified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certified by GARP.
