Gigy Cherian was the Global Insurance Consultant for Birla Carbon where he was in-charge of handling the Global Insurance program for all Birla Carbon Entities worldwide. Prior to Birla Carbon, Gigy has also been associated with ABIBL as Vice President & National Head-Corporate Sales (Group Business).
He has 4 decades of experience in underwriting, claims, marketing, and product design. Prior to joining Aditya Birla Capital, he was associated with organizations like Reliance Insurance Broking Limited, Standard Insurance Brokers Limited, and United India Insurance Company Limited.
He has an LLB degree from Govt Law College, Trivandrum and is a Fellow from Insurance Institute of India.
