With total work experience of around 53 years, Mr. Bhagat has a vast & rich work experience in the insurance domain. He started his career with Eagle Star Insurance Co. Ltd in London. In India, he has worked with insurance companies like Oriental Insurance, National Insurance Co. Ltd & United India Insurance Co. Ltd. in various capacities.
This Commerce graduate who holds a degree of ACII & ACIS (Inter), London has also worked with General Insurance Council of India for a short while. He also extended his expertise to Ispat industry as an advisor post his retirement. Currently he is on the Board of various renowned companies & also an independent non-executive director for Aditya Birla Insurance Brokers Ltd since June 23, 2003.
